Hongi

Lain’s piece is titled for the traditional Maori nose-to-nose greeting, a ‘sharing of breath’. We’re all in it together. This is the first Polynesian wrapping design I’ve tackled; concept to stencil to 14-hour session, an honor.

Yggdrasil

Our elaborate ornamental ‘Tree of Life’ full-back design has seen near finishing touches on Elizabeth. Fill work and subdued greens have yet to incorporate and complete the project. Two late-night sessions in.

Scripture

Yet another back piece of absurd complexity. A guy could read over the lines in this for hours. We’ll tackle all foundation work with 3-7RL, then fill - sure to be intense for everyone. First time using Dan Kubin machines.
